A Waterfront Family Maternity Shoot
When we found out we were pregnant with our second little girl, I knew I wanted to get maternity photos done - and I had the perfect photographer in mind. And what better way than to get cozy on a fall day along the water.
We worked with Amy from Love Point Photography and boy, oh boy! She worked some serious magic. Amy is a rockstar mom of 2, photographer, and also hosts the podcast Moms Who Rule the World. I met Amy through Instagram and we clicked. I wrote a blog for her and follow the podcast. It's always good to know I'm not alone in my motherhood struggles and hearing from working moms is so reassuring!
We were lucky that Amy agreed to shoot at our dream location - The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort. In hubby's hometown, this gorgeous resort is right on the water, has lovely landscaping, and a huge pier that is just asking for a photoshoot!
Photos with a rambunctious two-year old is never easy, but Amy did great capturing our growing family. My dream of having the perfect photoshoot was stressing me out... so I decided to go into this shoot with a much different mentality: I wasn't going to worry about it. We were going to have fun, laugh, and pray for some good shots. And I've never been happier with the results!
