Spinach Artichoke Dip


Ingredients:

  • 10 oz fresh spinach, chopped

  • 1 (14-ounce) can of artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil (for greasing the slow cooker)

  • Tortilla chips, crackers, or bread for serving

Instructions:

  1. Start by greasing the inside of your slow cooker with a teaspoon of olive oil to prevent sticking.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped spinach, chopped artichoke hearts, grated Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, shredded mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.

  3. Stir all the ingredients together until well combined. Make sure the artichoke hearts and spinach are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

  4. Transfer the mixture into the greased slow cooker, spreading it out evenly.
