Sweater Weather Favorites UNDER $50

It's finally starting to feel like fall on the East Coast and I am HERE. FOR. IT. This means I can start to break out my cozies and my favorite sweaters. Even though we are all about summer and going to the pool and beach, I have to admit something: Fall is my favorite. (But I feel like I'm in good company).

Here's the thing. I don't want to spend a fortune on sweaters. I love a good comfy, cozy sweater but I don't like to break the bank, especially right now when I have kids climbing on me, errands to run, and food to cook. I want sweaters that will stand the test of time, but won't break my heart if they show some wear after a year or two. I've rounded up a few of my favorite sweaters that are under $50!

Mock Neck

I'm pretty convinced that a mock neck chunky sweater should be a staple in anyone's closet this season. They're so incredibly versatile and come in just about any style you could want - wool, cable knit, lantern sleeve, chenille, cotton... the possibilities are endless!

Style with jeans and booties for a casual, everyday look or pair with a fun printed midi skirt and heel mules for a sassy date night outfit.

Turtleneck

Chic and timeless, a good turtleneck sweater can't be passed up. I'm a fan of chunky turtlenecks to wear with jeans, leggings, or even a textured skirt. Turtlenecks are great for layering under vests or ponchos.

Style with flared jeans and heels for or leggings and over-the-knee boots for versatile looks that can take you from brunch to playdates to date nights.

Tunic

Tunics are probably the most worn item in my closet. A lot of people think that if you're short, you can't wear tunics because they are not elongating. But I am here to tell you that's not true. Finding the right length tunic is important and making sure they aren't too oversized are key. You don't want to look like you're swimming in a sweater.

Style with skinny jeans and booties for an easy look that can be worn virtually anywhere. Wear with your favorite leggings and slip on sneakers for running errands or a fun day with the kiddos.

Crew Neck

Literally the most classic of sweaters that can be layered, worn alone, and worn with just about anything. These are truly the most classic sweaters you can own - don't let anyone tell you differently! Crew neck sweaters come in every style, color, pattern, shape, size... whatever you can think.
