Vacation Style for Every Mom
Summertimeeee is here! I don’t know about you, but I love when I can break out the light, airy outfits and get some quality beach time. If I could wake up every morning and hear the waves crashing on the sand, I would. (hopefully one day!)
I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite vacation looks that use versatile pieces because let’s be honest, I’m all about pieces that can go from day to night real easily. We are always on the go with two kids, and I don’t have time (or suitcase room) for 2 outfits each day. A lot of what I pack are my favorite, go-to pieces for warmer temperatures, but I’ll style them differently for vacation with fun accessories, floral skirts, or fun cropped pants.
I don't travel anywhere without a few staples: they make styling outfits easy and are versatile, and timeless.
Denim shorts, v-neck tee, dress, white top, fun skirt.
Instead of just showing some pieces, I’ll show how I style each piece and hopefully give you some inspiration of your own!
White Halter Tank:
1. White tank, coral shorts, sandals, sunhat
2. White tank, denim, tassel earrings, wedges or heels
Pink Pocket Tee:
1. Tee, denim shorts, slides
2. Tee, floral skirt, sandals. You can always throw on a statement necklace for extra pizzazz
3. Tee, wide leg cropped pants, strappy heels
1. V-neck, denim shorts, sandals, ball cap
2. V-neck, denim, strappy heels, statement earrings, clutch
This combination is so versatile and you can use any plain v-neck. They are an absolute closet staple. A v-neck can take you from a busy travel day to date night.
White button down
1. Button down, coral shorts, strappy heels
2. Button Down, denim, heels
1. Dress, sandals, sunhat
2. Dress, scrappy heels, clutch
I am a big fan of simple style, everyday looks, and things that are transitional for day-to-night activities. Over the past few seasons, I’ve really honed in on my love of neutrals that can be paired and tied in a few statement pieces (floral skirts and animal print) that spice up an otherwise “boring” look. I don’t want to think about outfits while I’m on vacation, and these styles are simple, mindless, but chic and make you seem put together, despite chasing a toddler around a resort all day!
